Jimmy Wren has done a great service to relatives of those who fought in the Four Courts and Mendicity Garrisons and also to future historians of 1916. Every participant who fought for Ireland’s freedom in these garrisons is given a biography based on Jimmy’s extensive research and input from relatives. Well done Jimmy, I recommend this book to 1916 Four Courts relatives and to historians of 1916.
