‘I realize this moment is the culmination of years and years of work, and I have been waiting for it my whole life. I find myself thinking back to how it began all those years ago in a tiny, cramped bedroom in Dublin – just me, my brother and a batttered, second- hand tape recorder… Within moments we are standing behind the stage and for a second I think again of that little girl who couldn’t wait to get back to that room to sing. The crowd erupts as I walk on stage, tambourine in hand.
